Nature Walk with Ancestral Sun/Water Ritual

By immersing into nature, inner and outer, we come to remember the purpose, power and expansiveness of who we are. Come join us and bring a friend. There is no cost but donations are appreciated to support the facilitator and cover costs.

This week you will learn about and explore our ancestral connections and the mind blowing expansiveness of inner and outer nature through a sun/water ritual. This is about embodying the very essence of being human in the simplest and most profound ways. We will be on Clear Creek, so bring your swimsuit/water-compatible clothing. 

All are welcome, no experience needed!

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND!

It is healing to gather in nature. Join us for a mindful walk, nature connection exercises and circle to connect and renew. This is a simple but potent antidote to the isolation and disconnection that have been prevalent for the last few months. There will be space to support others and/or be supported.

We will listen to nature, and our hearts to guide us in a number of possible ways. Possibilities include walking barefoot, enjoying the  refreshing waters of Clear Creek, connecting with the plants, trees and birds, various nature connection or energy exercises, etc. Depending on conditions, we may use sage or other cleansing herbs, sounds, drum, etc. It is encouraged that you wear clothing suitable for getting in the water. This is optional but encouraged. There will be opportunity to connect with its healing energies.  

PLEASE NOTE: We will be sitting in a circle on the earth. If you need a cushion please bring one with you. Consider that we will be walking so you won't likely want to carry anything heavy. There will be a few foam pads available for use if anyone wants to use them.

DIRECTIONS: The location is on Clear Creek Trail in Westminster, near Kipling and 41st Ave. at the Miller Trailhead. From Kipling, go west on 41st Ave. past Miller, bear right down the gravel road to the parking lot. You will receive a Google Map link in your confirmation email!There has been some confusion in the past so please follow these instructions!

Michael will be facilitating the group but it will be guided by the energies of the group and the elemental forces we will work with. He brings over 25 years spiritual practice rooted in eastern mysticism and shamanism. It is his intention to facilitate these gatherings to share these simple methods of connecting with the elemental healing forces of nature. Humans have, interestingly, come to see themselves as separate from nature. By immersing into nature, inner and outer, we come to remember the purpose, power and expansiveness of who we are.
