About the Feather Way

The Feather Way is a healing modality developed by Navajo healer Garrett Duncan, drawing from his Navajo Traditions and Reiki training, utilizing feathers as healing tools. You will learn the feather activation and healing protocols for use on yourself and others. Birds are messengers and call us into the freedom, mystery, and expansiveness of the air/mind/spirit element.  This FeatherWay is about rooting our high vibrational celestial nature into physical reality. It's also about rooting deeper to enable us fly higher without getting lost in the mental/spirit world. This enables our work to remain practical and effective and assist people dealing with life issues.

We will be adding a shamanic journey to discover your bird allies, learn additional cleansing and feather activation and cleansing techniques with herbs and tobacco. You will also receive guidance through hand analysis to understand your personal power and the keys to access it. This allows you to move forward greater ease and clarity as well as embody this medicine in a fuller way.

Michael is a creative visionary, healer, drum maker and owner of Incense Alchemy. His calling into the shamanic path has led to extensive training and experience with leading shamanic healers from around the world. His healing and teachings embody over 25 years of dedicated spiritual practice and healing. His given name 'Heartsong' reflects the heart-based teachings and vocal sound medicine he works with. After years of powerful dreams of birds and near death experience, Michael was guided to work with Garret Duncan and various shamanic healers and teachers. He was one of the first to become certified as a master teacher and practitioner of The Featherway. This initiated an immersion into the ancient art of bird shamanism, bird language and interspecies communication with teachers such as Jon Young, Alwyn Myburgh, John Lockley and the Koi-San trackers in the Kalahari.  He lives in Denver, CO.
