Womens Living Voice and Drum

The Living Voice and Drum workshop is an invitation to gather in circle with women sharing voice, drum, and wild inspired expression. This will be a very powerful, energizing, playful and evocative exploration using drumming and voice in a shamanic nature. This is for those who want to unleash their voice and drum while moving through inhibitions.

Based on the practices of SoulSounding vocal toning, with the added element of shamanic drumming and rhythm. We will be covering various techniques with the drum and learning to play together in beat, and with polyrhythms.

No experience is necessary, simply show up and get out of your own way. Whether you are beginning or seasoned in toning and drumming this workshop will provide you with a unique foundation to develop personal skills in working with energy and sound.

* Bring a frame drum or medicine drum if you have one, if you dont, we have several available for use or purchase. Please do not bring other style drums such as djembe, dumbek etc. as we will not be using those for this work.
