Snow Moon 2-Part Cleansing Ceremony

Under the Full Snow Moon, also known as the Hunger Moon, we will gather for fasting, healing, and celebrating the gift of life. This 24 hour cleanse and healing  begins online on Saturday and comes together in-person on Sunday for  those who are in Denver/Boulder area. For those unable to attend the in-person gathering, there will be instructions sent to you to complete the ceremony at home. This is an opportunity to let go of that which does not serve, receive personal guidance and healing from the spirit world and celebrate life. To facilitate the ceremony there will be a 24 hour fast, Hapé (Amazonian tobacco and herbs for cleansing), shamanic journey, and potluck.

Online ZOOM meeting – SATURDAY February 4, 7-8PM 

Begin fasting at Sunset, your local time then join everyone online. This means eat dinner before sunset your local time (5:24pm MDT). A normal to light meal of simple whole foods is recommended.

Join us Online at 7PM (MDT) to begin the ceremony.

In-Person at Private Residence, Erie, CO – SUNDAY, February 5 4:50PM - 7:50PM 

The in-person gathering will deepen the cleansing process with Hapé, a traditional Amazonian herbal medicine made with tobacco and various herbs. Little known to our wester culture, the primary use for tobacco is as a cleansing herb. Hapé powerfully grounds excess mental activity and opens the heart. It will help to prepare us to Journey and receive guidance from the ancestral/spirit world. After the journey we will celebrate the gift of life by breaking the fast with a potluck. Bring a small to medium portion of simple whole foods (not processed or refined foods) that you would like to eat and share. Bring a yoga mat or cushion to sit or lie on, we will be on hard floor. 

More than healing ceremony, this is also about creating community connections giving people the support they need as they go through prosesses of healing and accepting their gifts and purpose.

If you are local (Erie/Denver/Boulder) join us for both the Zoom Meeting and in-person gathering. If you can only attend the Saturday Zoom (because you are not local) an email of FULL MOON steps (optional rituals) will be sent to you to complete on Sunday.  

An email confirmation will be sent to all attendees containing the Zoom link and the physical address for those attending in-person.
